Our Staff

Our Registered Manager is Mel Barron. Mel has many years of experience gained in a number of different care homes and she has been with us at the Manor House since 2012. She was appointed our Registered Manager in early 2021 and is supported by our two ‘Team leaders’, Louisa and Michelle.

Mel leads a team of dedicated Care staff, most of whom have minimum NVQ level 2 qualifications. Training is at the heart of what we do; we have a program of continuing professional development (CPD) for all staff.

The Care staff are supported by a very committed Housekeeping team who maintain the Home’s cleanliness and hygiene to a very high standard and by a hard-working Kitchen team who cook fresh meals very day.

The Management Committee are all regular visitors to the home and hold monthly meetings. The Chair of the Committee liaises regularly with the manager to discuss the running of the home.
