We recently were delighted to receive a cheque from the Radcliffe Methodist ladies Group for more than £2,000! We really appreciate your support and the money has been used to refresh the two main lounges and to purchase a new TV and Sound System for the residents. the picture shows Karen (The manager for the Home) accepting the cheque from Elaine Upton of the MLG.
Other recent support we have received – and for which we are most grateful, includes:
Earlier this year Radcliffe Lions hosted another quiz night and The Manor was one of the charities who benefitted from this. We were given an impressive cheque for £500 from this. So again a big thank you to them for their kind donation.
The local charity ROTSPA (Radcliffe on Trent Swimming Pool Association) included us in their list of local organisations/charities in distributing their money to help local causes. This, along with our regular donation received from Joint Homes and the local charitable organisation The Skerritt Trust, has helped fund the new and much needed boilers.
This year we were also chosen by the Nottingham department store John Lewis as charity of the month and we were given a very generous cheque from them for £1038.00
We were delighted when we were informed that The Methodist Ladies Group had also chosen us as their designated charity this year, They held a coffee morning in March in aid of The Manor House, along with other events that contributed to them donating a wonderful cheque of £2050.00 – see the picture above!
